The “Exploring RFID in Business” blog (https://www.taggedvalue.com) will develop over time, highlighting market trends and become a showcase for new solutions using RFID and other technologies. New business opportunities are being realised in many sectors and new experiences are coming to consumers.

Nordic VR: A dive into the Finnish VR ecosystem
Wellbring Creative will visit Matka 2017 (Nordic Travel Fair) at Messukeskus, Helsinki on Friday 20th January. It is the largest travel industry event in Northern Europe.
Wellbring Creative will be meeting trade professionals and discussing about the creation and editing of written content used for travel products within the tourism industry.
Both John Sperryn and Mark Fletcher were invited to attend Oslo Innovation Week, 17-21st October as Media representatives. The intensive week was themed around ‘Powercouples’ – linking large companies with startups, experts, researchers, investors and other entrepreneurs. Education, Finance, Medical and Creative Industries were highlighted.
John Sperryn joins the Ultrahack 2016 Team in preparation for the 2016 Finals 25th-27th November. Now in it’s second year Ultrahack is a combined Innovation, Acceleration and Hackathon platform. Developers, students, startups and corporations join the innovation platform and submit initial solutions for the Tracks (Challenges). Using various tech resources/APIs indivudals and teams will try to find novel solutions for: FinTech, Retail, Media & Entertainment, Public Services, Mobility-As-A-Service, Health, Mobile Networks and Built Environment challenges.

John Sperryn joined the team and was Producer for the MyData Hackathon. Eighty selected hackers joined twenty-three international teams for the 48 hour event. Mobility, Health, Public Services, Retail, Finance were main themes with the additional ‘wildcard/open category’ option. Hackers explored the use of personal data to create new services, new ways to combine data sources and ways to regain control of personal data. More information here.
Wellbring and Partners created and demonstrated a healthcare solution focused on fall detection, combining wearable hardware and developing new software. This was partly shown on Finnish Broadcasting Agency (YLE) news within the summary of the event.
In parallel the range of Pebble Smartwatches were introduced and discussed with the visiting guests.
Upgraded Life Festival, organized by HealthSPA Finland, is a large annual event in Helsinki bringing together professionals in healthcare, wellbeing and technology.
